COUTURE is the programme Langham keeps for a small circle of travel partners, by invitation, and Dip Needle books within it. For a guest of the house it means arriving already known: breakfast for two every morning and a hotel credit to spend at the bar, the spa or dinner, with VIP recognition that reaches the hotel from a partner it trusts. COUTURE also gives us dedicated partner support at Langham, so a birthday, a late flight or a preference for the river side of the building is heard by the people who will act on it. The stay feels arranged rather than merely reserved, at a house that has been practising the art of arrival since 1865.
Privileges apply to eligible bookings and vary by hotel and rate; upgrades and check-in and check-out times are subject to availability.

04Behind the programme
Langham Hospitality Group
The Langham, London opened on Regent Street in 1865 as Europe’s first grand hotel, and the house has been refining the form ever since. A Langham is recognised by its rituals rather than its decoration: afternoon tea served with ceremony in Palm Court, a cocktail at Artesian that sets the tone for the evening, a doorman who greets a returning guest by name. In Chicago the same instinct takes a modernist turn, in a Mies van der Rohe tower above the river with Chuan Spa inside and the Riverwalk beneath the windows.
New York’s Fifth Avenue, Boston, Pasadena, Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong complete our selection, each keeping the London manner while taking its cue from the city outside. They suit the traveller who wants the full ceremony of a grand hotel and none of its stiffness: a lobby with presence, a bar with a reputation and a room that is quiet by the time you return from the theatre.

On your approval we place the reservation through COUTURE, and the hotel learns from us what the confirmation cannot say: the occasion, the side of the building you prefer, the hour the car will arrive.

Arrive already known
Your confirmation and a short account of the stay reach you before departure. At the door the welcome has been prepared and breakfast is already arranged; the rest of the day is yours, at whatever pace the city suggests.
