01Dip Needle Circle

A travel club built on recognition.

Privileges on every eligible stay across our hotel programmes, points that turn each journey into the next and an advisor who remembers how you like to arrive. Membership is by application.

02From the house

The house remembers you.

Recognition cannot be requested at the desk. It travels ahead of you or not at all, and Circle is our arrangement for making sure it does. Your advisor keeps what the house has learned, the wing you prefer, the hour you tend to arrive, the table you asked for last time, and sends it ahead of every reservation made through our preferred programmes, so that the welcome is ready before you arrive.

The welcome of a preferred guest holds across every one of our hotel programmes, from the harbour lights of The Peninsula Hong Kong to the Georgian quiet of Heckfield Place, and at sea takes the form of onboard credit and selected offers on eligible sailings. Every qualifying booking earns Circle points towards the next. A simple idea, kept with care: the hotel expects you, and each stay counts.

03Circle privileges

The standing of a preferred guest.

On every eligible booking across our hotel programmes, a member is received as a preferred guest, with daily breakfast for two, a hotel credit to spend on property, room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out, VIP recognition and preferred offers. At sea, eligible sailings with our cruise partners carry onboard credit and selected offers. Privileges apply to eligible bookings and vary by hotel and rate; upgrades and check-in and check-out times are subject to availability.

  • 01

    Breakfast for two

Breakfast for two on every morning of the stay, at an hour of your choosing, before the day makes any claim on you.

  • 02

    Hotel credit

A hotel credit to spend on property during the stay, whether at dinner, in the spa or on a bottle sent up to the room.

  • 03

    Room upgrade

A room above the one reserved: a higher floor, a longer view, the category you very nearly chose.

  • 04

    Early check-in

Keys in hand before the customary hour, so that a morning flight becomes a whole first day rather than an interval in the lobby.

  • 05

    Late check-out

The final day kept whole: the room remains yours into the afternoon, for a last swim, a long lunch and an unhurried departure.

  • 06

    VIP recognition

The hotel knows who is arriving and why. Your preferences travel ahead of you, and the welcome is personal from the first evening.

  • 07

    Preferred offers

The offers each programme reserves for its preferred guests, opened to you whenever your dates fall within them.

04Circle points

Earned quietly, spent well.

Points are our way of keeping count, so that you never have to. Every qualifying booking made through Dip Needle adds to a balance your advisor keeps on your behalf, whether it was a week in Kyoto, a fortnight at sea or a single night in London on the way to somewhere else.

There is no rate card to study and nothing to present at the desk. Before you confirm a booking your advisor tells you what it earns, and when the balance is ready to be spent the same advisor proposes its finest use: a further night at an address you love, a gift chosen for someone, a gift card for the pleasures of home.

  • 01Hotel stays

    Every qualifying stay counts

  • 02Voyages

    Every qualifying sailing counts

  • 03Private journeys

    Every qualifying booking counts

  • 04Your balance

Kept and reported by your advisor

  • Future travel

The balance put towards the next reservation made through the house: a return to an address you love, the first night somewhere new or a night added where you already are.

  • Gifts

Gifts chosen with the care of an itinerary: something for the table, the study or the road, for yourself or for someone you have in mind.

  • Gift cards

Points converted to a gift card for the pleasures of home, kept for yourself or handed on to someone who would use it well.

05Membership

Two degrees of membership.

Circle begins with an application and an advisor. From the first eligible reservation the privileges of a preferred guest apply, and from the first qualifying booking the points begin. Inner Circle is extended by invitation to those who travel most with the house, and draws the relationship closer still: fewer introductions, and a house that anticipates rather than asks.

06Joining Circle

The shape of membership.

  1. 01

    Apply to join

Tell us how you travel and how to reach you. An advisor replies to introduce the membership, its privileges and its points, and opens the record of preferences that will follow you from stay to stay.

  2. 02

    Travel as a member

Reserve through your advisor and arrive already known. Across every hotel programme the privileges are attached to the reservation, and your preferences reach the hotel before you do, so the first evening feels like a return.

  3. 03

    Earn and return

Every qualifying booking adds Circle points towards future travel, gifts and gift cards. The balance builds quietly, and when the moment is right your advisor proposes how best to spend it, from a further night to a gift chosen well.

07From the collection

Addresses that expect you.

Membership travels to every address in the collection. These six are a beginning: The Peninsula London at Hyde Park Corner, Regent Hong Kong at the water’s edge in Kowloon, Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá in Madrid’s royal quarter, Park Hyatt Kyoto in the stone lanes of Higashiyama, Heckfield Place on its Hampshire estate and The Apurva Kempinski Bali on the cliffs of Nusa Dua. The seventh is a conversation with your advisor.

Membership, in plain terms.

Introduce yourself to Circle.

Tell us how you travel: the addresses you return to, the hour you like to arrive and the occasions ahead. An advisor replies personally to introduce the membership, its privileges and its points, and to hear what you have in mind.

10By application

Arrive as a guest of the house.

Membership is by application, and the application is an introduction: tell us how you travel and an advisor replies. What follows is the welcome of a preferred guest on every eligible stay, Circle points on every qualifying booking and a house that keeps your preferences from one stay to the next.
