Rooms built to a different scale

A Grand Deluxe room measures 66 square metres, with the city beyond tall windows; the Grand Premier adds a separate living room at 70 square metres, and the Executive Club room reaches 80, with the Executive Lounge thrown in. These are proportions that change how a stay behaves. Wellness as the main event

Sindhorn Wellness by Resense gives the hotel its second identity. Resense, which also keeps the spas at the Adlon in Berlin and the Ishtar on the Dead Sea, brings treatment rooms and fitness facilities together with an infinity pool that appears to have no far edge. A treatment in the afternoon, a swim before the light goes, and the evening arrives already unhurried. In a capital famous for its pace, the arrangement amounts to a quiet argument that the best of Bangkok is taken at a lower speed.

Two kitchens in one garden room

Flourish is the reason to stay in. Its Thai and Levantine kitchens share a single dining room with greenery on the far side of the glass, and the menu moves between reimagined Thai recipes and the mezze table without any sense of strain. It serves from breakfast to dinner, so it becomes the hotel’s daily rhythm as much as its restaurant. Ki Izakaya takes the evening in a Japanese direction, and Firefly Bar closes the night, or opens it, depending on the company.
