A voyage booked through Dip Needle carries onboard credit and the selected offers open to our cruise partnerships, set beside the fare from the first proposal. A yacht itinerary rewards close reading. Overnight calls, late departures and the hours a small harbour is genuinely open decide how much of a coast you see, and a Mediterranean week can be arranged to feel like a private charter or a tour of towns. Suites are chosen for outlook and terrace rather than category alone. These voyages are short, so most sit best inside a longer holiday: we arrange the hotels, the cars and the days ashore at either end, and the sailing becomes the centre of the trip rather than the whole of it.

04Behind the programme
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection
The Ritz-Carlton took its idea of hospitality to sea and changed the scale rather than the standard. Evrima, the flagship, runs to 624 feet and 149 suites: large for a yacht, very small for a ship. The difference shows in the harbours she can enter, where the town tends to begin at the end of the gangway.
At the stern a marina opens onto the water, and on the right afternoon the sea stops being the view and becomes part of the yacht. Every suite has a terrace of its own, so the coast is available from the moment the curtains go back. Days close pleasantly in on themselves: a morning ashore, an hour outside with nothing to do, dinner as the anchor comes up. Voyages are all-inclusive, which settles the accounting before you board.

Tell us the sea and the season, who is travelling and whether the yacht is the whole holiday or the best part of a longer one.

Itinerary and suite
We read the calls for overnights and late departures, match the suite to the outlook you want, then set the fare, the onboard credit and the offers in one written proposal.

The days either side
On your approval the suite is reserved and the holiday around it arranged: the hotel before embarkation, the cars, the table booked in town for the evening the yacht stays late.

Aboard, and unhurried
Confirmation and the travel plan follow before departure. Marina use and water activities depend on weather and local permission, a fair trade for anchoring where the harbours are small.
